Rise Again
When the manufacturing plant in a small town closed the entire town nearly shut down. The residents called themselves the “Living Dead.” They lost hope until 33 year Jesse Hammond and and his 12 friends came to town. They fed crowds of 5,000 or more fish and bread. They provided health care services for the sick and they raised hopes.
The preachers in the community wanted Jesse out of the way. The politicians were afraid of him. But the people loved him because he seemed to bring a message from heaven that they could rise again!
If you are looking for a contemporary way to tell the resurrection story, this play is it!
